Indications
In children:

• Treatment for growth retardation due to growth hormone deficiency.
• Growth delays in girls with gonadal dysgenesis (Turner Syndrome).
• Growth delays in prepubertal children with chronic renal insufficiency.
• Growth delays in children born small for gestational age, who have not caught up by age 4 or older.
• Growth delays related to Noonan Syndrome.

In adults:

• Persistent growth hormone deficiency diagnosed in childhood: Re-evaluation is required after growth is completed, except in specific cases related to genetic or structural abnormalities.
• Adult-onset growth hormone deficiency, usually caused by hypothalamic or pituitary disorders, or resulting from irradiation or traumatic brain injury. This deficiency must be confirmed through dynamic testing after correcting other hormonal deficiencies.
